Hello folks this is my page to keep you up to date on events  and changes while you are away!

1. The new bridge going over the waterway is currently under construction. It is to be completed by December of 2009! My sources say they are ahead of schedule, but dont care to tell how much due to future weather and obstacles which could change that report! Can't say that I blame em! When completed, it will reach 211 south of St.James at Midway Rd. Lots of shops and commercial villages are planned for that area! It will also knock off about 25 minutes or more on your trip to and from Myrtle Beach SC and Wilmington NC!

2. Sewer for the island is underway again and making leaps and bounds of progress.My street was piped and covered in two days! They are working hard!

3. The new bridge over the Davis Canal at Middleton Rd. is now open!

I will keep you updated on the progress, plus if any new area restraunts and shops pop up, I'll try to keep you in the loop!!
